Job Overview

Property Response Group Ltd, a family-run property maintenance company with a strong reputation across London, is seeking fully qualified Gas & Plumbing Engineers (minimum 5 years' experience). This is a subcontractor position offering stability, flexibility, and excellent earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

Handle

3-6 job assignments per day

within your allocated London zone, ensuring high-quality, timely completion. Install, service, and repair gas appliances and plumbing systems. Carry out gas safety inspections and compliance checks in residential and commercial properties. Provide emergency call-out services when required. Deliver excellent customer service, offering clear advice and solutions. Maintain accurate records of services provided, materials used, and time spent. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe working condition.
What We Offer

Weekly pay

(one week in arrears).

Commission Structure 40%-50% of job profit

performance based structure (including profit on materials).

High earning potential:

1,500 - 2,500 per week realistic.

Allocated work zones

to minimise travel and maximise efficiency.

Simple field management system

for job scheduling, paperwork, and admin.

Flexible schedule:

minimum 4 days per week, with up to 6 days available.

Back-office support:

we handle all client invoicing so you can focus on the work.
Qualifications & Skills

Valid

Gas Safe registration

. NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent qualification. Minimum 5 years' proven experience in gas and plumbing. Own van and tools. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage varied jobs (boiler breakdowns, installations, servicing, and reactive call-outs). Self-motivated with the ability to invoice weekly (gross payments; you are responsible for your own tax arrangements).
