Job Description

We are a customer- focused, leading plumbing and heating company based in Ripley, Derbyshire. We are looking to recruit an experienced and fully qualified gas engineer to attend pre-booked appointments within our coverage area. We cover roughly a 15 mile radius from Ripley, including Derby, Alfreton and Belper. This is a full time position and requires full domestic gas safety qualifications and at least 5 years' experience, as well as being able to uphold our unrivalled levels of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have:
5 years minimum experience
Valid ACS domestic gas qualifications
Outstanding customer service skills
A great attitude towards teamwork

Dedication to achieving the highest standards of quality, attention to detail and meticulous execution is essential
Unvented qualified
The role will involve attending pre-booked customer appointments for the following:

Boiler installations
Boiler breakdowns and fault finding
Boiler servicing and general maintenance

Fault finding on all gas appliances

Fire services

Fire breakdowns - diagnostics and repairs
Landlord gas safety checks to cover boilers, hobs, ovens and fires
Emergency gas leaks

Gas pipe repair and installation
General heating problem solving

Knowledge of SMART thermostat installation an advantage

TRV and radiator issues and installations

Some plumbing

Remuneration:
Salary: 39,000
28 days holiday per year
