Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of gas appliances and systems in both residential and commercial settings throughout the North West area. You will also be responsible for completing some plumbing works. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work effectively with various tools and equipment.

Role duties

Service, maintenance and breakdown of gas, LPG and air source heat pump heating systems, working to health & safety guidelines, safe working practices, operational procedures, gas safety regulations and specifications Complete Install work occasionally Some plumbing duties (pipework, leak detection & repair etc) Undertake PPM activity Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs Report works using your PDA Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and central heating systems Perform safety checks and ensure all work complies with current legislation and industry standards.

What we need from you

ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT A full UK driving license Flexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedules Excellent customer service skills with previous experience working with the public A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations Ability to manage your time and workload independently Recognised formal qualifications NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (minimum) Additional qualifications (air source heat pump / LPG) are desirable
