We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and fully qualified Gas Engineer to join our property business managing a portfolio of 400+ residential properties. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to a motivated engineer who takes pride in quality work and can deliver excellent service to tenants and the property management team.
You will be responsible for carrying out gas-related works, plumbing tasks, and boiler installations across our portfolio. This position requires someone who is self-sufficient, well-organised, and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct gas safety inspections (CP12s) across all properties
Diagnose and repair boiler and heating system faults
Install, service, and maintain boilers and central heating systems
Carry out general plumbing repairs and maintenance
Respond to urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner
Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and company standards
Maintain accurate records of all work completed
Communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and the property management team
Requirements
Fully qualified Gas Safe registered engineer
Proven experience working as a Gas Engineer in residential properties
Strong plumbing skills, including fault-finding and repair
Experience installing a variety of boiler makes and models
Full UK driving licence
Own van and tools required
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
