We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of gas systems and safety regulations, ensuring efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and heating systems in residential and commercial settings. Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Troubleshoot issues related to gas appliances, providing effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and carpenters, to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and compliance documentation. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Experience in plumbing and carpentry is advantageous for multi-skilled tasks. Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform welding tasks as required for specific installations or repairs. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation of equipment to job sites. Capable of assembling components accurately as per specifications. Physical capability for heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.

Pay: 500.00-1,329.00 per week
