Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and associated pipework. Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with current regulations. Diagnose faults in gas systems and appliances, providing effective solutions. Carry out emergency call-outs as required, ensuring prompt response times. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and concerns professionally. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to gas engineering.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Gas Engineering (e.g., Gas Safe registration). Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of gas safety legislation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
