We are a small family run business looking to expand our workforce and welcome a new member to the team,

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gas engineering, with the ability to work effectively in various environments. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring that all gas installations, maintenance, and repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential properties. Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Diagnose faults in gas systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects effectively. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their gas systems. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to gas engineering tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble and disassemble equipment as needed. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. Experience in heavy lifting as required for transporting equipment or materials on-site. Ability to weld when necessary for specific installations or repairs. Commercial driving experience is advantageous for transporting tools and equipment between job sites. Previous experience in plumbing or carpentry is beneficial but not essential.

Pay: 38,500.00-42,000.00 per year
