We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems across various commercial and residential properties. Duties



Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations Conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to identify faults or potential hazards Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently Perform welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work as required during installations or repairs Carry out heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and effectively Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety guidelines Assist with the diagnosis of mechanical issues using technical knowledge and basic maths skills Operate commercial vehicles to reach different sites as needed, adhering to all driving regulations

Qualifications



Proven experience in gas engineering or related trade such as plumbing or mechanical systems Competence in welding, carpentry, plumbing, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles (desirable) Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,711.23-50,286.90 per year
