Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in installing, servicing, and repairing gas appliances, plumbing systems, and heating equipment to ensure our customers receive safe and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out installations, servicing, and repairs of gas boilers, heating systems, and plumbing components in residential and commercial properties.
Diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently, complying with all health and safety and gas safety regulations.
Perform routine maintenance checks and issue Gas Safety Certificates where applicable.
Liaise professionally with customers, providing clear explanations of work undertaken and any recommendations.
Complete job reports and documentation accurately and timely via company systems.
Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures including uniform and PPE requirements.
Participate in flexible working hours as required, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Requirements
Qualified Gas Safe registered engineer with current certification.
Proven experience in plumbing and gas engineering, ideally in a service or installation environment.
Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and building standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Own basic hand tools (company van provided).
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.

Salary
Starting salary: Negotiable, depending on experience (DOE).
