The Role



We're looking for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our team. This role focuses on:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of domestic gas appliances (not just boilers) Carrying out gas safety checks Fault finding and diagnostics Electrical testing on heating systems using a multi-meter Heating controls upgrades, including smart thermostat installations Occasional work on electrically fired heating systems Plumbing repairs and maintenance Carrying out small installation works Occasionally assisting on larger installation works Covering our on-call rota 1 in every 4 weeks

Salary Structure



Your basic salary will be set according to your level of experience within domestic gas work.

On top of this, you will receive additional pay uplifts based on the number and types of extra work categories you confidently cover, such as:

Domestic plumbing Oil-fired heating systems Unvented cylinders LPG systems Heat pumps Commercial gas work
You will also receive performance related bonuses.

Overall, your total salary will range between 37,500 and 43,500 per year, with your basic pay plus uplifts and bonus combined.

What We're Looking For



Fully qualified Domestic Gas Safe Engineer/Plumber Minimum of one year's experience post-apprenticeship Confident servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding across domestic gas appliances Competent in carrying out gas safety checks Experienced using a multi-meter and performing electrical testing on heating systems Comfortable working with some electrically fired heating systems Skilled in heating controls upgrades, including smart thermostat installation Full UK driving licence Willingness to take on varied tasks and support the wider team Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
