You will be part of a team, working towards growing a new company, as part of a group of companies. specialising in M&E Gas & plumbing including commercial & residential.

We are looking for a

gas engineer

, who would is happy to do all works from

plumbing

and the odd other task now and again. As well as having commercial experience and a keen interest in becoming a

commercial gas engineer

.

We work in block management commercial buildings and high end residential.

We either pay 290 and you cover your own fuel and parking & congestion charge, or we pay 230 and we cover parking and fuel & congestion.

Generally the 230 works out cheaper for the engineer, as some days there can be central London work and lots of driving using up fuel.

You will cover:

Van & van Insurance Van Maintenance Tax & MOT / Servicing Tools & Gas analyser ( we can also help you with an analyser if needed) External Training

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools for installation and repair work
- Possess a valid commercial driving license for transportation of equipment and materials
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques for constructing gas system components
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating gas flow rates
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of gas appliances and systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with welding for fabrication or repair work
- Familiarity with power tools for efficient installation and maintenance tasks
- Plumbing skills to connect gas lines and fixtures accurately
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble gas equipment safely
