W-Heat are a family company based in Sandbach who pride themselves on their skills and experience. We cover gas, plumbing, electrical and renewable energy works both within the domestic and commercial sectors.

This is a full time role, hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Salary - dependent upon experience.

We are currently recruiting for a Service and Breakdown Gas Engineer with CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 - Gas Safe registered

The Role

Duties include but not limited to:

Responsible for the effective servicing and maintenance of domestic gas appliances, plumbing and heating systems. To work individually or as part of a team to complete gas appliance, plumbing and heating repairs/installations to a high standard. To comply with Gas Safety Standards. To comply with company standards. Must be happy doing gas and plumbing works as there is an element of both. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and a problem solver. Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically.

Essential experience/qualifications:

Domestic Gas Qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 Experience in a similar role Full clean driving license Willing to undergo a DBS full disclosure Must live within a 15 mile radius of Sandbach

The following would be advantageous but not essential:

Commercial Gas Qualifications Plumbing Qualification Water Regulations, Unvented Cylinders, Legionella Experience with Oil/LPG Electrical maintenance experience / qualifications

Schedule:

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday On call weekend rota (1 in 5)

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
