Overview

We are seeking a qualified Gas Engineer with plumbing skills to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. There are also a varied range of other works to complete with our oil engineers, fitting stoves, bathrooms and kitchens. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various technical skills. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and associated pipework. Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure safety and efficiency. Utilise hand and power tools. Perform plumbing tasks as required, including the assembly of components. Carry out carpentry work related to installations and repairs. Execute heavy lifting when necessary for equipment installation or removal. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on-site.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid background in mechanical knowledge with experience in the following areas:

Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Basic plumbing skills for effective system integration. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
