The Role

This role is primarily installation-focused, working on the installation and commissioning of commercial wet heating, air heating and hot water systems, plant room upgrades, and pipework installations.
There will also be occasional service, maintenance, and breakdown work to support our service contracts and maintain client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

Installation of commercial boilers, pipework, and associated plant Refurbishment and upgrades of plant rooms Commissioning and testing of heating systems Occasional servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on commercial gas systems Working to drawings and specifications Ensuring all work meets relevant safety and quality standards Maintaining clear documentation and job reports
Requirements

Proven experience in commercial heating installation and commissioning Valid Gas Safe qualifications, including:
Commercial Gas:

COCN1 / CODNCO1 - Core commercial gas safety CIGA1 - Indirect-fired appliances CORT1 - Direct-fired appliances CDGA1 - Direct-fired gas appliances over 70kW ICPN1 - Installation of commercial pipework TPCP1A / TPCP1 - Testing and purging of pipework systems
Domestic Gas (advantageous):

CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety CENWAT - Boilers and water heaters HTR1 - Gas fires and space heaters CKR1 - Cookers Experience working with plant rooms, boiler houses, and mechanical systems Ability to read and work from technical drawings Full UK driving licence Strong communication and teamwork skills CSCS card (advantageous but not essential)
