Gas & Renewable Heating Engineer

Gas & Renewable Heating

Engineer to join our further expanding workforce and be part of the company's future development.

Redbridge & Sons Property services are a leading Heating, Electrical and Renewable Technologies company based in Gloucester and providing a wide range of Sustainable Energy Solutions for the drive to Net Zero for businesses and homeowners alike. This is an exciting and varied role with opportunities to work with the latest renewable and smart home energy technologies along with traditional heating systems in the retrofit market. It's also an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their skills with a dedicated training and development plan, to include all the latest technologies.

Requirements:

You will be expected to work on various private domestic customers and small commercial sites. Complete installations of Gas Boilers and hot water cylinders. Complete installations of Air Source Heat pumps to provided designs. (Monoblock + Split systems - Fgas advantageous.) Complete installations of Zero Emissions Boilers. Complete Installations of Sunamp hot water products. Commissioning installations to manufactures specifications. Fault finding and general repairs of heating systems, eg immersion heater changes. Installation of radiators and connecting to UFH systems. Some minor plumbing works where required, eg Tap changes. Working with apprentices and supporting them on their training an improvement program. Working with the customers on ensuring their requirements are met, keeping a clean, tidy and Safe site / work area. Communicating with the project manager to ensure all installations/jobs are completed on time and to the required quality levels. Good knowledge of Heating systems, eg: S Plan, Y Plan, vented and un-vented cylinders and Air Source Heat pumps, and split systems would be advantageous. The ability to work on your own but also willing to help other team members and apprentices when required. Experience with health and safety processes and procedures. Good eye for detail and quality Be willing to travel - mainly Gloucestershire, Bristol and surrounding areas. Product training will also be provided to the successful applicant on specialist products.

Qualifications:

Domestic ACS - CCN1, CPA1, CENWATT, HTR1, CKR1 + Level 2 or 3 Plumbing or equivalent experience Unvented Hot Water Storage systems or equivalent experience. ASHP knowledge advantageous but not essential (Training Provided) Fgas advantageous but not essential (Training Provided.) Full clean Driving License.
Working Week: 40 Hours per week. (Full time position)

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1/2 hour for lunch. Overtime available.
