Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in project management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage teams, control costs, and ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.

You will have had previous experience on-site and office based experience with respect to fitting gas boiler, gas central heating systems and air source heat pumps. Some experience of insulation installations would be an advantage.

Responsibilities



Supervise installation teams and ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications. Able to communicate well with installers and customers on and off site to resolve any issues arising at the time, or post installation. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions. Gather requirements from stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Control project costs through effective budgeting and resource management. Provide leadership and motivation to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders regularly. Organise documentation using various systems including SharePoint and Hubspot for easy access by team members. Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications



Be registered with Gas Safe Have the relevant ASHP qualifications for installations. Proven experience in supervising teams. Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. Familiarity with requirements gathering techniques and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in ERP systems and project management software (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet). Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Experience with cost control measures and budget management practices. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder interaction. Knowledge of various project management methodologies including SAFe, Waterfall, and Agile practices. Experience with product development processes and content management systems is advantageous.
