Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in using various tools, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be Gas Safe.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure systems are functioning efficiently. Utilise welding techniques for system installations and repairs as required. Employ hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks. Execute assembly tasks for heating units and components. Lift heavy equipment and materials as needed to complete installations or repairs. Ability to carry out general plumbing works. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to management. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site. Excellent customer service skills required. Must be able to work as part of a team but also work independantly.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems particularly boiler faults. Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
