Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing domestic gas systems in residential, property. This role is best suited to a self employed competent person with CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT as a minimum. For the right candidate we will provide local gas work in the region, all appointments are pre booked. We simply require the chosen candidate(s) to offer 1 to 5 + days to us a week and we will fill the day with work. A solid reliable and competent person will inherit the region for the future and be out local registered technician.

We are a duel training and engineering business registered with gas safe/corgi since the 90's and able to offer our freelancers other gas opportunities which include training and assessment awards. For persons keen to do repairs also we offer full tech support and training. For long term partners, we open the doors to a wide range of professional posts within the gas industry.

You Will Be



Self Employed, have your own transport (Car, Van, M/Bike) Your own Insurance, although we will provide additional insurance on our public clients works. You are willing to learn and expand competences. LPG Crossover will be one if you don't already have.

If you are new to the gas industry and looking to gain further experience and professionalism whilst earning and learning and have a minimum CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT and live in this region, then we will happily accept applications

Responsibilities



Primarily Servicing Gas Boilers, and carrying out Landlord Gas Safety Inspections on domestic installation in the Bucks, Beds, and Berks Regions. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of gas equipment Diagnose issues accurately using specialised tools and techniques (With full tech support via WhatsApp) Complete detailed reports and documentation for all work carried out Liaise with clients to explain work procedures and safety advice clearly Adhere strictly to health and safety policies at all times during site visits and installations Keep up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications



Relevant qualifications such as ACS Gas Safe Register certification or equivalent recognised accreditation Minimum CCN!, CPA1, CENWAT Proven experience working as a Gas Engineer within residential, commercial, or industrial environments especially if new to the industry Strong knowledge of current gas safety regulations and standards Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting Valid driver's licence is desirable for travel between sites Commitment to health and safety protocols at all times
