Job Description

Working as part of a team and your own initiative, you will need to fulfil the needs associated with the installation, commissioning, and servicing/ maintenance of gas/ oil burner systems.

These systems are linked to large industrial heat exchanger units utilised for the heating of cooking oil for the frying process in the Food Industry.

Your role as a Gas Field Service Engineer includes but not limited to the following.

• Installation supervision of G4 heat exchangers.
• Commissioning of gas/ oil burner systems
• Bi-annual maintenance of burners/ operating systems
• System upgrades
• Extended overseas travel is often required at short notice.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Electrical qualifications with experience on low voltage and measuring instrumentation.
• Mechanical qualifications with a good knowledge and understanding of process P&ID.

• Familiarisation with PLC control systems. (Siemens/ Allen Bradly)
• Minimum 3 years industry experience.
• Experience within the food, pharmaceutical or other relating process industry would be advantageous.
• Awareness of Industrial Gas Safety competency requirements, preferably Gas Safe (Either individually or registered with existing company).

• OTE \xc2\xa365,000 +. Overtime will be paid on all hours over 40.
