As a Gas Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas pipelines and related systems.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and repair equipment related to gas distribution and processing. Utilize programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems for monitoring operations. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on gas equipment. Perform heavy lifting as required during equipment installation or repair tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety practices. Document maintenance activities and report any issues to management promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and operations. Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of job duties. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
