well-established UK specialist in automated gate and barrier systems
, providing installation, maintenance, and repair services for high-security commercial and government sites across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for
two experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers
to join the team.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, servicing, and maintenance of
automated gates, barriers, bollards, road blockers, and turnstiles
Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault-finding
Working on high-profile commercial and government-linked sites
UK-wide travel as required
Participation in a structured call-out rota
Candidate Requirements
Electrical or mechanical background preferred - formal apprenticeship is a plus, but strong hands-on experience will also be considered
Proven experience as a
Gate & Barrier Engineer
or in a similar engineering role
Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Experience with
hydraulics, PLCs, and control circuitry
Computer literate
Full UK driving licence
Eligible to obtain
SC security clearance
Desirable qualifications
: DHF, Gate Safe, IPAF, PASMA, CSCS

Paid door-to-door travel
Call-out rota: 1 week in 5-6, 100/week on call, 50 per call-out
