Our company is a well-established, leading gate automation company, we are currently on the look-out for an Automatic Gate and Barrier Engineer to join our highly valued team on a full time, permanent basis.

Some of the services we offer include the installation of gates, automation systems, traffic barriers, intercom systems, access control, parking systems and other integrated security systems.

This is a Field-based role and you will be working with multiple clients across different sectors. The role offers a variety of skilled tasks therefore you should enjoy developing new technical skills and learning to use new equipment.

You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

The Role/Candidate

We are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers for BOTH installation and service, The roles will involve carrying out installation, service/maintenance & fault-finding on a range of automatic gates, barriers and associated equipment.

You must be:

A competent engineer with proven experience in the installation, servicing and the maintenance of Automatic Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, and associated equipment.
Someone who is confident, has good face to face skills and is comfortable outlining further work to the client.
A self-starter.
A team player.
A proactive problem solver.

Skills/Education and Experience

A full driving licence is

Essential.

Electrically or mechanically qualified would be an advantage but

not

essential

.

DHF or Gate Safe Accredited would be an advantage but

not essential

.

Hours/Location/Salary

Salary:

30,000 - 35,000 D.O.E with additional overtime estimated to be between 20-30 hours per month. Plus call out bonus

Location:

Based in Barton Le Clay, Working radius 100 miles

Hours Of Work:

Basic 40-hour week, 8:00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Overtime if required.

Holidays - 20 days plus bank holidays (increasing 2 day for every 5 years served)

Monday - Friday

Pay: 30,000.00-36,000.00 per year
