Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Gateman to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks across our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage their responsibilities effectively while maintaining clear communication with team members.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of work sites, ensuring they are clean and organised. Operate and drive machinery or vehicles as required for specific tasks. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth workflow. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that materials are readily available for ongoing projects. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and supervisors. Capability to maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Experience in driving machinery or vehicles is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
