Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Gateman/woman to join our team in the vibrant cardboard manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and contributes significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality cardboard products.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Conduct regular maintenance checks on gates and access equipment. Assist in managing logistics related to incoming and outgoing shipments. Communicate effectively with team members and visitors regarding site policies. Maintain accurate records of all entries and exits at the facility. Collaborate with management to improve security measures as needed. Provide support during emergencies or safety drills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role or environment is preferred. Strong maintenance skills, particularly with mechanical systems. Valid driving license with a clean record. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
