BUSINESS SEGMENT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

Global Banking & Markets enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis. Fixed income, currency and commodities teams transact in a variety of assets, including FX products.



EMEA FX Options trading desk sits at the intersection of global markets, macroeconomic news and geopolitical events. The desk is looking to hire an analyst trader with the aim to focus on the exotic side of the business into our London office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pricing, hedging and managing risk arising from FX derivatives, with a focus on exotics payoffs from multicurrency derivatives and hybrids. Filter the wealth of information available in order to provide our clients with a service that is relevant to their business - be it key developments in the FX world, appropriate trading or hedging strategies. Update clients about Goldman Sachs research and strategy or news and flow activity. Identify trade ideas with the support of sales and research which are relevant to the client base Product enhancement: direct input into enhancing GS offering, idea generation, project prioritization. The role does require the candidate to interact with multiple internal teams to expand product offering in new markets including Digital Assets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This role requires a highly motivated candidate who displays a passion for the markets, can manage multiple tasks in an efficient and accurate manner while working in an international fast-moving environment Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification Excellent understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals and geopolitical events Strong analytic background with ability to think through complex problems in real time and ability to strategize future desk project development. Good communications skills, with full proficiency in spoken and written English High degree of intellectual curiosity
