GCSE and A-Level Business Studies Tutor (remote)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and tailored online Business Studies lessons for GCSE and A-Level students on a 1:1 basis. Assist students in understanding key concepts, solving problems, and preparing for exams. Provide regular feedback and track student progress to help them achieve their academic goals. Utilise online tools to create an interactive and effective learning experience. Adapt teaching strategies to suit the needs of each student.

Requirements

Achieved at least

A grade or equivalent

at both

GCSE and A-Level

Business Studies. Strong knowledge of the

GCSE and A-Level curriculum

, including familiarity with exam boards such as

AQA, Edexcel, and OCR

. Previous

tutoring or teaching experience

. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students. Committed to working with Educo London for at least the

academic year

. Ability to take initiative, tailoring lessons to individual student needs. Reliable access to a computer, stable internet connection, and a quiet space for tutoring.

Skills and / or experience useful for this opportunity

Strong Academic Background

: A or equivalent grade in GCSE and A-Level Business Studies.

Tutoring Experience

: Previous experience supporting GCSE/A-Level students.

Curriculum Knowledge

: Familiarity with UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR).

Communication Skills

: Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage students.

Tech Proficiency

: Comfortable using online teaching tools effectively.

Commitment

: Organised and reliable, with dedication to the academic year.
