We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Tutor to support students in their academic journey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. QTS is necessary, as is experience teaching AQA GCSE English Language. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension and retention of material.
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and confidence.
Collaborate with parents to support the educational development of students.
Experience
QTS and experience in teaching, ideally within a formal educational setting.
Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and their families.
A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
