Job Description
We are looking for an English tutor who can support a Year 11 Student with GCSE English.
The student is preparing to sit their GCSEs and requires support.
Tuition for a bright student who missed all of Year 10, so needs to catch up on key concepts and missed learning, practise exam technique and understand how to revise.
At present levels are 3 for English, however teachers think they are more than capable of achieving at least a 5. A lovely, well behaved student.
In person at SW18 5SP.
Availability: Preferably Wednesdays.
The role:
This role will involve providing tuition to young people referred to Anchor Tutors Planning each session of teaching Providing engaging sessions which meet their needs Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
Tutor requirements:
Desirable
Professional Teaching Qualifications 1+ years teaching experience Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
Essential
Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed) Two professional references UK Right to Work
