Your Day-to-Day Impact




In this role, you'll inspire and educate students by planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in GCSE Maths, following the Edexcel curriculum. You'll support students' success by offering tailored guidance and constructive feedback that helps them build confidence and achieve their goals. Your approach to teaching will be inclusive and adaptable, designed to meet the diverse needs of every learner. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with colleagues to continuously enhance the student experience while staying current with developments in Maths to contribute to a culture of excellence.

You have a genuine passion for education and are committed to helping students succeed.

You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.

You are a skilled classroom manager, able to create a positive, respectful, and focused learning environment. You're confident in using differentiated teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities and learning styles. You demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines effectively. You hold a teaching qualification (or are actively working towards one), alongside GCSE English at grade 4 or above. You possess in-depth knowledge of the Edexcel GCSE Maths curriculum and stay informed about developments in the subject area. You're reflective and committed to continuous professional development, always looking for ways to improve your practice. You're confident with technology and digital tools, including Microsoft Office and virtual learning environments. You are a collaborative team player, willing to share best practice and support wider college initiatives.
