We are looking for a GCSE/Functional skills tutor to support a learner not attending school achieve a qualification.

Aim:

To support a learner out of school with English/Maths tuition

Extra information

: This role is not suitable for online. The learner has ASD and deals with trauma due to before she was adopted. Due to the school being mainstream, the learner finds it very overwhelming. They do attend a horse therapy once a weekedn arranged through the school. She is a very lovely young learner and the school want to see her though until she can sit an exam. She is academically capable, but has been entered in for Functional Skills as well. She responds well to playfulness.

Essential Requirements

Trauma-informed teaching approach Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service Self-employed status and right to work in the UK Availability during weekday daytime hours Reliable transport to attend in-person sessions
