To provide efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the smooth integration of a new HR and Payroll system, assist the wider team with data migration and testing, and support colleagues with ongoing administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Compile and verify spreadsheets of data from paper files.
Input, validate, and update data in spreadsheets, databases, or other HR/Payroll systems.
Assist with data cleansing to ensure accuracy and consistency prior to system migration.
Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
Support system testing by running test scenarios, recording results, and reporting any issues to the project team.
Liaise with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to coordinate system implementation tasks.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, decisions and changes.
Support team members with general administrative tasks as needed.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent office software skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to learn new digital systems quickly.
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
Confident working with large data sets and conducting data quality checks.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
Desirable:
Previous experience in HR or Payroll administration - knowledge of HR or Payroll legislation and processes.
Experience supporting or implementing a new system within an established organisation.
Experience with data migration and cleansing.
Fixed-term position for 9-12 months, 21 hours per week. Working hours to be agreed between the successful candidate and the HR team - flexibility available.
