We're looking for an extra pair of hands to support our small team. McArthur Manor is an exclusive use venue, so each event brings something different. Events may include weddings, corporate retreats, family stays and everything in between! We see all of our guests as VIPs and aim to accommodate every request.
This role involves doing a bit of everything, including; housekeeping (preparing the manor for incoming guests, general cleaning), front-of-house duties (meal service, bar work, assisting hosting events) and some kitchen work (simple food preparation, washing up). Living locally to Blairgowrie as well as having experience working in hospitality or a cleaning environment is essential. Experience in events is a bonus but not required.
Duties vary depending on the event and may include:
Turning over bedrooms and cleaning the property
Setting up and decorating guest areas and banquet spaces
Stock movement and preparation
Assisting with food service
Waiting on tables
Responding to guest requests with a helpful, friendly attitude
No two days are the same - each event brings something different. During quieter months, your focus will shift more towards housekeeping and helping maintain our beautiful Georgian manor.
