Job Description

We are looking for a general assistant to join the team and learn the operational side of the hotel business. You role will be to work in all departments as and when needed, covering holidays and sickness and having your own projects complete.

This job would suit someone who is happy to work alone as well as part of a team, someone who is willing to learn and grow within the role and has an interest in the hospitality industry.

Departments you would be trained in:

Reception, Bar, Restaurant, Housekeeping, Conference & Banqueting.

This job would suit someone with a mature outlook and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist in serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive dining experience. Manage time effectively to meet service demands during peak hours.

Qualifications

Serving and food safety knowledge Experience in food preparation and restaurant settings Strong time management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
