We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Casual General Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks, ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to. Support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace. Help with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Perform basic maths calculations for inventory management and stock control. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the restaurant.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential. Basic understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork. A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
