We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance person to join our team. The ideal candidate may have front of house experience in hospitality, and be able to assist with maintenance tasks which may include assisting house keepers, general duties within the hotel, and some maintenance duties when required.
Responsibilities
Join the FOH team on a rota basis with shift pattern 5 days over 7.
Weekend shifts are shared within the team which will be part of the program.
Maintenance duties will include assisting the manager with external repairs & garden maintenance.
Assist with setting-up function and event spaces.
Experience
Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Person with green fingers open to making good use of your skills in a paid environment.
Interest in hospitality or have had recent experience in the sector.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively would be a distinct advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Remuneration will be based on age and experience of the applicant.
A valid driving licence would be advantageous for commuting, but not essential.
