Summary

We are seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team . This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive top-quality service and fresh food. This is a permanent position and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established family business committed to quality and community.

Shift pattern

general shift are Monday - Saturday 8.30am-5.30pm (8 hour shifts )

we have a variety of shifts 3/4/5 shifts per week.

we are open different hours over the festive weeks and shifts can vary eg Sundays, early shift, back shift and night shift, during this period shifts may be subject to change.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and ensure high standards of food safety. Serve customers efficiently and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the back of house and serving areas. Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Handle basic math calculations for transactions. Promote upselling to enhance customer experience. Follow all health and safety regulations diligently.

What we are after

Previous experience in food preparation, food retail or restaurant service Is desired. Strong time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic math skills. Passion for quality service and customer satisfaction. Experience with upselling techniques.
