We are seeking a friendly and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Huntingdon, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and excellent customer service.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs and requests in a friendly and professional manner Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations and contribute to a positive work environment Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces Assist with general administrative tasks and support various departments as needed Comply with health and safety regulations and food service guidelines Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively Support team members during busy periods and assist with additional tasks as required Contribute to the organisation's goals by demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills

Qualifications

Genuine passion for customer service and hospitality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle various situations effectively Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks Basic computer literacy for handling administrative tasks Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (desirable) Previous minimum 1 yrs experience in a similar role, particularly in the food service industry (preferred) Flexibility to work various shifts, as required Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
