We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Assistants to join our dynamic team on the beautiful Isle of Skye. In this role, you will support various operations within our establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and warm Highland hospitality. Duties

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Support serving staff during busy periods, providing assistance with orders and customer service. Engage in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests. Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and stock control. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and efficient workflow. Assist with housekeeping or Reception, as required. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in a kitchen or serving capacity. Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards. Basic math skills for handling orders and inventory management. Time management abilities to effectively prioritise tasks during peak hours. Experience in food preparation or culinary arts is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively. A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing customer satisfaction.
