Summary

We are seeking a General Assistant to join our team at Esquires Coffee in the UK. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting daily operations. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and community involvement.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and serving to ensure high-quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas Adhere to food safety regulations and practices Provide excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor Support baristas in delivering exceptional coffee experiences Manage inventory and assist with stock replenishment Help train new staff members as needed Engage with the community through local initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or cafe environment
Strong skills in food preparation and safety practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for handling transactions Excellent time management skills A passion for coffee and customer service Culinary experience is a plus but not required. Upselling skills are advantageous.
