Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within the garden centre. This position requires confidence and experience in a retail setting, a reasonable level of physical fitness owing to some heavy lifting as well as a willingness to work outside year round. Plant experience and/or knowledge is desirable but not essential. If you feel this role would be suitable we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Customer service & operating the till Watering Helping to keep the garden centre clean & tidy Putting out incoming deliveries Potting up and planting pots/baskets Assisting with general maintenance i.e. painting, cleaning etc.
A full time or part time position is available for the right candidate(s). Both will require working on a Sunday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
