Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our reception, bar and restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and customer service, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for assisting with maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent support to both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas. Help with basic maths tasks related to portioning and inventory management. Engage with customers to provide information about menu items and upsell specials. Support managers by managing time effectively during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in assisting where needed. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
