Salary: 12.21 per hour plus overtime pay

About the role:




We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Assistant to support the day-to-day food and service delivery across the school. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.


You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK's leading contract caterers, providing fresh, innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.

As a

General Catering Assistant you will...

Assist in the preparation and serving of lunch and snacks. Maintain cleanliness of the front and back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils. Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination. Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies. Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs. Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.


Qualifications



Ideally have experience working within Education catering Have good Health & Safety knowledge. Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused. Fun and enthusiastic Have excellent organization skills. Demonstrate great attention to detail. Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team. Possess great customer service skills. Have a flexible approach to work
