As a General Cleaning Assistant at Worthy Down Barracks, SO21 2RG,you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is integral to the well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an essential part of our team. You'll have the opportunity to interact with our armed forces personnel daily, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.
What You'll Do:
Maintain cleanliness in allocated areas in line with work schedules and standards.
Provide cleaning services support across the site using equipment and supplies as directed.
Safely use cleaning chemicals and follow health & safety procedures.
Complete required training and follow all instructions carefully.
Maintain excellent customer and client relationships through professional service.
Attend team briefings, meetings, and development reviews.
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear the appropriate uniform/PPE.
Report any accidents, near misses, or faulty equipment to management.
Care for equipment, materials, and supplies responsibly.
Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.
What You Bring:
Essential:
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Physically able to perform manual handling tasks related to cleaning duties.
Desirable:
Previous experience working within a military environment.
