Due to the investment in a new facility, we're looking for General Labourers to work as part of our Bodyshop Team in our fabrication workshop and paint shop facilities at Carlisle Airport.

Duties of the role will include, assisting the Bodyshop in the car transporter refurbishment programme, assisting in the preparation of transporters for painting and the cleaning, maintenance, and good housekeeping of the fabrication workshops. Hours: of work are on a rotational shift pattern of 06:00am - 14:30pm and 13.00pm - 21.00pm includes some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure that you are taking reasonable care of your own health and safety while performing your duties at work.

To provide assistance to other employees in the fabrication workshop as requested and required.

To ensure that you are taking reasonable care not to endanger other employees, visitors or members of the public.

To ensure that storage and cleaning techniques carried out by you are safe to the best of your knowledge.

To use equipment and tools correctly and for that which they were designed.

To co-operate with the employer and all issues regarding health and safety.

To report any dangerous occurrences and uncontrolled to the Bodyshop Manager immediately.

To ensure that the Bodyshop, fabrication workshop, the fabrication stores and the yard are systematically cleaned on a routine basisKey Benefits
