Experienced General Builder - Home Extensions
Location: Banstead, Surrey (SM7 & surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time / Self-employed (depending on arrangement)

We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder to undertake and assist with all aspects of high-quality home extensions. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working on residential projects to a high standard.
You will be involved in multiple stages of extension builds, from groundwork through to finishing, working either independently or as part of a small, professional team.
Key Responsibilities
All general building duties related to residential extensions
Brickwork, blockwork, groundwork, drainage and structural works
Working from drawings and specifications
Assisting and coordinating with other trades on site
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience as a General Builder
Proven experience working on home extensions
Own transport and tools essential
Reliable, punctual and hard-working
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality finishes
References required
Must be local or willing to commute to Banstead (SM7)
Desirable (but not essential)
Ability to read and understand construction drawings
Basic knowledge of building regulations
Experience working in occupied homes
Good communication skills with clients and team members
