Responsibilities

Deliver high-standard building works including: Extensions (single/double storey) Structural alterations (knock-throughs, steel installations) Brickwork/blockwork & roofing adjustments Hard landscaping (patios, paving, decking, retaining walls) General refurbishment tasks (plastering, basic carpentry, decorating) Work safely and neatly within occupied residential homes Communicate clearly with homeowners and the Buildaway office Complete jobs to agreed timelines and quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a

general builder

on residential extensions/refurbishments Strong skills across brickwork, structural work, patios, and finishing Good understanding of site safety and UK building practices Own tools and reliable transport (van preferred) Portfolio or photos of completed work Professional, dependable, and good with clients
