Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to a variety of building projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using a range of materials and techniques Interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Performing carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting, and finishing Installing roofing systems and conducting roofing repairs as required Applying construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes Conducting plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards Executing masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Welding metal components to specifications using appropriate welding techniques Installing electrical systems or components where relevant experience exists Fabricating custom parts or structures as needed for specific projects Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess practical experience in multiple areas of construction, including but not limited to:

Carpentry and roofing work Construction painting and finishing techniques Plumbing installation and repairs Masonry work such as bricklaying or concrete work Welding skills for metal fabrication projects Electrical experience relevant to construction settings
Candidates should be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools, with a strong understanding of safety procedures. Previous experience in fabrication or working across diverse construction disciplines is highly desirable. A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in construction trades will be considered an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 24,420.00 per year

Work Location: In person
