Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. Duties

Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures using various materials and techniques Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during building activities Perform carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry, and finishing work Carry out roofing work such as installing new roofs or repairing existing ones Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and components as required by project specifications Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Carry out welding tasks for structural repairs or fabrication purposes Undertake electrical work where necessary, following safety protocols and technical standards Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific projects Maintain a clean and organised worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Experience

Proven experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is preferred Knowledge of construction painting, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication processes is advantageous Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in building trades is essential Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately Prior experience working on residential or commercial projects is desirable Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship is required

Pay: From 27,000.00 per year
