Overview

We are seeking a general experienced Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a range of construction skills and be able to work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of building projects.

Duties

Execute carpentry tasks, including framing, flooring, and cabinetry installation. Perform roofing duties, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing systems. Carry out construction painting tasks, applying finishes to surfaces with precision. Assist with plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulations. Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework for structural integrity. Conduct welding operations for metal components as needed on-site. Apply electrical experience for basic installations and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction tasks. Participate in fabrication processes for custom components as required by project specifications.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes and regulations. . Knowledgeable in construction techniques, with an eye for detail in finishing work. Familiarity with plumbing systems and the ability to perform basic installations and repairs. Skilled in masonry practices, capable of constructing durable structures. Competent in welding processes, ensuring strong joints and structural integrity. Steel work too. Basic electrical experience is advantageous for assisting with installations or repairs. Proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools relevant to the construction industry. Ability to fabricate components according to specifications.
