Candidates must be local, the successful applicant will have a tailored package to suit their experience, needs, and skill set along with tools, van etc... all taken into account. Candidates would need to be punctual, smart and professional. Good social skills are are needed for communicating with the team and customers. Driving license and van/pickup are required. Previous domestic building experience is essential.

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a diverse skill set. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in the team helping to complete domestic and commercial building projects from extensions and one of a kind new builds to modernising commercial outlets, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the building process.

Duties

Construct, assemble, and repair structures using various materials including wood, metal, and masonry. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read Plans and construct as required for specific projects, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Complete various masonry construction jobs. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow on-site. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to building tasks. Knowledge of masonry, roofing, and and finishing techniques. Ability to read and interpret plans, structural calculations and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods. Valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. Good communication skills to communicate with clients and staff.
